After six years as the president of BYU-Idaho, Henry J. Eyring has been released. He will be replaced by Elder Alvin F. Meredith of the Seventy.
The announcement came during Tuesday’s devotional, announced by Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
Eyring was sustained as an Area Seventy in the April 2019 general conference.
