Valentine’s Day is just around the corner for BYU-Idaho’s students.

On Tuesday, Campus Life Events are hosting a Cupid’s Corner event in the Student Activities and Involvement Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 14.

This Valentine-themed event will have crafts and activities throughout the day.

Students will have the opportunity to play games, win prizes and make Valentine’s Day cards. At the end of the event, participants can take home a Valentine-themed cookie.

Abby Mortimer, a junior studying political science, is helping to run the event.

“It’s a one-stop shop to enjoy all the best of the special day,” Mortimer said.

Cupid’s Corner provides busy students an opportunity to celebrate the holiday with activities and crafts that are easily accessible.

Jacob Brown, a sophomore studying psychology, shared that he does not personally celebrate Valentine’s Day. However, when asked if he would take time out of his day for this event, he shared his thoughts.

“I would go to socialize and to build my friendships,” Brown said.

Building friendships, eating cookies, enjoying the holiday — however you choose to celebrate Valentine’s Day — Cupid’s Corner will be celebrating from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
