On Tuesday, April 18, BYU-Idaho emailed an official notice to students with a list of various resources available to them for mentoring along with links.
Some of the resources in the notice included I-Prepare, Academic Advising and Title IX & Sexual Misconduct. I-Prepare covers potential school emergencies like natural disasters and mental health issues. Academic Advising centers on career advice and grad plan help. Title IX & Sexual Misconduct focuses on dating violence and other incidences of sexual harassment to students.
The notice also encouraged students to take advantage of the 12 different resources and promised students that using them would help them to thrive during their time at BYU-I.
