The Rexburg Farmers Market returns for its fifteenth season this Friday.

To kick off the season and show appreciation to the mothers in the community, the Farmers Market will have a Mother’s Day flower giveaway to the first 100 mothers to arrive.

“We’re trying to have events every single week,” said Jamie Ashcraft, the organizer of the Rexburg Farmers Market. “Whether we’re planting a seed, or we’re doing a shooting range or fun water thing. There’s going to be different events and it’ll be posted on our social media every week.”

The Farmers Market also accepts Electronic Benefit Transfers cards, which allow a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program participant to pay for food using the EBT account. Each participating vendor has a sign signifying that they accept EBT cards.

“There’s a list at the information booth,” Ashcraft said. “They can find the vendors that do accept EBT.”

The Rexburg Farmers Market will be at the Madison County Fairgrounds every Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., with the exception of June 2 when it will move to Porter Park.

The Farmers Market will run throughout the summer until Oct. 6.
