On Monday, Student Living will host a Carnival Night on campus from 7-9 p.m. The event will take place in the Manwaring Center, in The Crossroads and stage area.
The Carnival Night is the first of its kind for BYU-Idaho. Student Living hopes to host another carnival-themed night later this semester.
“We are going to have six different carnival booths,” said Savannah Smith, a senior studying psychology. “We will have a shooting range where you will be shooting nerf guns at stuffed animals to knock them down, a chuck-a-duck game, ring toss, bucket ball, a couple of mini-golf greens and a snowball toss. Each at a separate booth.”
Participants can earn prizes and snacks by earning tickets by playing the games.
“This is friendly competition; all these games are going to be really fun. They aren’t rigged like at the real carnival, so everyone has a chance to win tickets and get fun prizes,” Smith said.
Carnival Night is a free event for students to enjoy. You can register here, or come the night of.
