The Basement caved into the requests and will host One Direction night on Friday. One Direction night calls Directioners to bring their emotions back from the 2010s into the 2020s. The event will run from 9 to 11 p.m.

“They are finally doing a One Direction night,” said Maddison Taylor, a sophomore studying fine arts at BYU-Idaho. “It feels like I’ve had to wait forever for it, but I am so excited and can’t wait to go.”

Tickets for One Direction night are $5 each, will be sold at the door and are first come first serve. 1D fans will gather once more after a long-awaited reunion. Whether one is team Harry, Zayne or Louis, Directioners can come together and relive the treasured moments from the boyband’s past.

The Basement has stated that the dress code is to show up as your favorite 1D member. One can wear outfits inspired by ‘You Don’t Know You’re Beautiful’ or their album ‘Summer Nights’ to rep a favorite member or era of the band.

“It is so exciting The Basement is opening up to One Direction,” said Emma Lytle, a sophomore studying English. “It’s good to know they are being more inclusive to different types of music.”
