Tight overtime game won by ISU

On Saturday, Idaho State University Bengals and University of Idaho Vandals squared off in the ICCU Arena in Moscow, Idaho. The score in the second half tied 81-81, which led to overtime. The Bengals won, 93-91.

First Half

Both teams made a three-pointer to begin the game. For more than three minutes, the Bengals led 9-2. In the middle of the first half, Bengals guard, Brock Mackenzie, scored nine points.

Vandals guard, Dominique Ford, scored nine points in the first half — the Vandals were up by three points.

The Vandals made a comeback in the last three minutes of the half after losing by six points for more than five minutes.

The Bengals lost the first half, 36-37, trailing by one point.

Second Half

At the start of the second half, the Bengals stole the lead. For the opening three minutes of the second half, the Bengals led 10-2.

The score in the second half was tied 81-81, which led to overtime.

Overtime

In overtime, the game seesawed between both teams as both showed skill. With 95-91, the Bengals finished as the victorious team.
