On April 28, the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sent out a letter regarding a new update being implemented on the Come, Follow Me manuals.

Come, Follow Me was first announced on June 29, 2018. There would be two manuals the members of the church would be using: Individual and Families, and Teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Starting Jan. 2024, rather than having two manuals, members of the church will only be teaching families with one manual.

“In an effort to strengthen and simplify home-centered, Church-supported gospel learning, we are pleased to announce a new, consolidated resource titled Come, Follow Me—For Home and Church,” the letter said.

The manual for next year will be based on the teachings of The Book of Mormon.

Come, Follow Me, “is designed to help (members) learn the gospel— whether on (their) own or with (their) families,” the manual says.
