On Sunday, May 21, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will broadcast a worldwide devotional for young adults with President Dallin H. Oaks and his wife, Sister. Kristen M. Oaks.

It will be broadcast at 6 p.m. mountain standard time in both North and South America. In other areas, the recorded broadcast will be available to watch in the afternoon and evening of May 28.

Dallin H. Oaks is the first counselor in the First Presidency and president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ.

According to the Church, President Oaks “is a graduate of Brigham Young University (1954) and of the University of Chicago Law School (1957). He practiced law and taught law in Chicago. He was president of Brigham Young University from 1971 to 1980, and a justice of the Utah Supreme Court from 1980 until his resignation in 1984 to accept his calling to the apostleship.”

President Oaks married Sister Oaks on Aug. 25, 2000, after losing his first wife, June, to cancer in 1998.

The devotional will be available on the Church website, YouTube and Gospel Library.
