Special Collections & Archives discussed BYU-Idaho professor Hyrum Lewis’ recently published book, The Myth of Left and Right, in room 220 in the David O. McKay Library on May 18.
Lewis is a professor in the History, Geography and Political Science Department.
“Special Collections & Archives houses items unique to university history and campus curriculum, the history of the Upper Snake River Plain, and changes in writing,” says the Special Collections & Archives website.
All sorts of historical artifacts and collections are stored there. It also hosts exhibitions and more.
“We collect books that have been written by students and faculty on campus,” said Student Engagement Librarian Veronica Adair, who is in charge of marketing for this event. “As part of collecting those books, we like to offer those authors the opportunity to come and talk about their book.”
