The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning Tuesday evening. In addition to Southeastern Idaho, the warning covered parts of Utah, Wyoming and Nevada.

The flooding impacted each area to varying degrees. Some Rexburg residents have reported minor flooding, specifically to basements. The Rexburg Police Department closed several sections of road around 7:30 p.m.

Closed roads included several sections of Volmoss road and part of the 4th & 2nd roundabout.

The flooding impacted Idaho Falls to a greater degree than it did Rexburg. For more information, including photos, see East Idaho News’ article.
