Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and his wife, Sister Patricia S. Holland, will speak to the young adults of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in a worldwide devotional this Sunday at 6 p.m. MST.

Elder Holland invited young adults around the world to tune into the broadcast through posts on Instagram and Facebook posted on Jan. 1. According to Elder Holland’s post, the topic of the devotional will be “facing the future cheerfully” and how Jesus Christ taught and exemplified hope.

“With the new year comes a fresh start and anticipation for what lies ahead, moving on from a year that may have been tragic or difficult for some,” Elder Holland said. “Because of the work of the Almighty God, we have every reason to hope for great blessings and opportunities in the days, months, and years to come.”

While Elder and Sister Holland will be speaking to a live audience at Utah Tech University in St. George, Utah, BYU-Idaho students are invited to attend a live broadcast of the devotional in the BYU-Idaho Center at 6 p.m. Following the devotional, there will be cookies provided in the BYU-Idaho Center courts.

Those who would like to enjoy Elder and Sister Holland’s broadcast will be able to stream the event live on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint’s website or Youtube.
